PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS
CHERI BOMAR, Executive Vice President and General Counsel Hardy World, LLC. She has over 25 years of expertise in real estate and corporate law, specializing in commercial real estate acquisitions, disposition, financing, leasing and development. As Executive Vice President and General Counsel, Ms. Bomar is responsible for the overall leadership and management of the firm. She oversees the operations and staff at Hardy World, LLC that coordinate all aspects of development, management, leasing and brokerage.
Ms. Bomar has been with 84 Lumber Company and Nemacolin Woodlands, Inc. as Secretary and Corporate Counsel since 1996. From 1996 – 2016, Ms. Bomar was responsible for the development, entitlement, disposition and acquisition opportunities associated with the resort and the lumber company. At 84 Lumber Company, Ms. Bomar was responsible for construction and general corporate law matters of both entities. Ms. Bomar also served on the lumber company’s board of directors.
In addition, Ms. Bomar was responsible for the start-up, strategy and overall management of a variety entrepreneurial endeavors during her tenure at 84 Lumber Company including 84 Outdoor, LLC an outdoor advertising company, Woodlands Animal Care Center, Inc., a veterinary care center and Nemacolin Wooflands, LLC a pet resort and spa.
Ms. Bomar graduated from Duquesne University School of Law. Ms. Bomar received her undergraduate degree in mathematics form Washington and Jefferson College. Ms. Bomar is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. Ms. Bomar is a member of the American Bar Association and is a licensed Pennsylvania Real Estate Broker. Ms. Bomar is a past member of the Board of Trustees of California University of Pennsylvania, past board member of Northwestern Human Services Foundation, past board member for Jefferson Regional Medical Center and Bethel Park Basketball Association. In addition, Ms. Bomar is a volunteer advisor for Powerlink and volunteer mentor for the Center for Women. Ms. Bomar resides in Bethel Park, PA, a suburb of Pittsburgh, with her husband, Shawn and three children, Anthony, Nicholas and Isabella.
