EJ von Schaumsburg is Co-CEO of Red Bison. E.J. is a visionary leader and pioneer in the wireless LAN market with nearly three decades of producing positive results for clients in the telecommunications, enterprise and digital advertising industries. Before joining Red Bison, E.J. co-founded his own wireless design business which was acquired by a publicly traded industry leader. At LCC International, an industry leader in wireless design services, he led the in-building practice designing and deploying wireless technologies (Wi-Fi, small cell and Distributed Antenna Systems). He started his career with AT&T/Lucent Technologies/Bell Labs where he gained strong international business experience as CFO of an AT&T/Lucent wholly owned subsidiary in the Netherlands. E.J. is a founding member of the Wireless Ethernet Compatibility Alliance (WECA), the body that created the term, “Wi-Fi.” E.J. earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance from St. Bonaventure University and his MBA in Finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
Established by the United States Congress, NIBS’ mission is to serve the public interest by advancing building science and technology to improve the built environment.
