PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS
Seema Bhangar is Principal, Healthy Buildings and Communities for Innovation and Research at the U.S. Green Building Council. She is a visiting scholar at U.C. Berkeley’s College of Environmental Design Research and serves on the board of an independent nonprofit, the Indoor Air Institute.
Bhangar previously served as a sustainability program manager with the commercial real estate firm WeWork and product manager with environmental sensing technology startup, Aclima. Bhangar was a postdoctoral research fellow at U.C. Berkeley, where she also completed a Ph.D. in environmental engineering and an M.S. in public health. She holds a B.A.S. from Stanford University.
Established by the United States Congress, NIBS’ mission is to serve the public interest by advancing building science and technology to improve the built environment.
