PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS
Ted Weidner teaches at Purdue University in the Construction Engineering & Management department where he is a Professor of Engineering Practice. Prior to his role in academe, Dr. Weidner held facility leadership roles at six universities where he was responsible for all areas of facility service delivery including fleet, mail/delivery, transit, energy, operations, planning, design, and construction. He is a frequent speaker at APPA conferences and webinars and is an ANSI representative to ISO TC267 Facility Management and has been the convener for several of the TC 267 working groups. Weidner was also active in the development of APPA 1000 – Total Cost of Ownership, Implementation standard. His research interests are focused on facility maintenance and capital renewal.
