At Allegion, Bobby Prostko is the Deputy General Counsel, IP and Cybersecurity, and Chief Privacy Officer, where he works closely with global business teams, engineering and IT professionals, and regional attorneys to lead Allegion’s global privacy program and support digitization efforts for Allegion’s broader seamless access strategy. He also serves as Managing Director of Allegion Venture’s $100M corporate venture capital fund. Prior to Allegion, Prostko was a patent attorney at Krieg DeVault LLP in Indianapolis, and an intellectual property associate at Kirkland & Ellis, LLP in Los Angeles.
He has a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering and computer science from the University of Louisville, a J.D. degree from DePaul University College of Law, and completed his executive master’s degree in cybersecurity from Brown University.
