Sarah Diesing serves as the Executive Director of Accounting with the National Institute of Building Sciences. She assumed this role after an extensive career in non-profit accounting, bringing with her a decade of specialized experience. Prior to joining NIBS, Diesing held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Hudson River Housing, where she was instrumental in driving operational excellence and financial accountability. Before that, she served as the Director of Finance at the same organization and as Chief Accountant with Bard College.

Diesing is an active Certified Public Accountant in the state of New York, a testament to her commitment to upholding the highest standards in financial management. She is passionate about integrating innovative financial practices that serve the greater mission of non-profit organizations.

She holds a Masters in Accountancy from SUNY Polytechnic Institute of Graduate Studies and a BS in Business Management with concentrations in Finance and Marketing from Binghamton University School of Management.
